What about a guided city tour with "our" night guard in Celle? Or a boat trip on the 'Aller' river (loch and Technology Museum Oldau) in combination with a cycling tour?
Special recommendations: the blossom of the heather in August or the Stallions' Parade in September. But also the wine festival at the end of July are a worth a visit.

Holiday destination
Your holiday house lies at the northern edge of the residential city of Celle. The street 'Kreisstrasse' ends in town, the holiday house (opposite the stream 'Alvernsche Bach' and a parking area) is located in a cul-de-sac.
Biking and hiking start right in front of your doorstep. After crossing the the 'Kreisstrasse' (250m) the only noise you here is the rustle of the trees. You can watch deer, the kingfisher or, with a little bit of luck, stags in nature. There are two bicycles at your disposal free of charge.
Nearby, you find a couple of good and recommendable restaurants but also the self-catering can be done easily (in the vicinity of five kilometres you find several supermarkets).
Getting there
You can reach Celle easily via the highway A2 or A7. Then you follow the B 191 up to the part of town, called 'Garßen' and there you turn right at the fist traffic light towards 'Alvern'.
Coming from Berlin, you follow the A2 and use the exit to the B 214 towards Celle. In 'Eicklingen' you turn right towards 'Lachendorf'. There you turn towards Celle and leave the firs round-about at the 2nd exit towards 'Garßen'. After approx. 4km you reach 'Alvern'.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Vermieter aufgenommen und fanden wirklich ein sehr schönes, sehr ruhiges und dennoch zentral gelegenes, äußerst sauberes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Traumhäuschen mit allem, was das Herz begehrt vor, so dass wir uns von Anfang an sehr wohl fühlten. Herr Zeitzer, der Vermieter, hatte im Gespräch stets sehr gute Empfehlungen bereit, denen wir sehr gerne folgten. Wir werden mit Sicherheit bei Gelegenheit wieder kommen!!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
Die Lage war ruhig und erholsam.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und wenn etwas fehlte haben wir es gleich bekommen.
Die Einrichtung war geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Das wird nicht das letzte mal sein.... Wir kommen wieder.
