Other recreational opportunities
The holiday home is placed in the middle of the city. A lot of bicycle roads are available. Addiotionally there are a lot of interesting walkways around Emden.
A supermarket is within walking distance. Also there is a bigger shopping centre in Emden, which can be reached by bus or car.
After a long day, the swimming bath "Friesentherme" as well as the cinema "Cinestar" are good placed to fade out the day.
Holiday destination
The home is near to Emden's inner-city. There are a lot of sights for tourists like the townhall, fire ship or the well known shop of Otto Waalkes called "Otto Huus".
You can also do day trips to the island Borkum or go to the cinema. Shopping is also only 5 minutes away within walking distance.
Getting there
Reachable by car by the German Autobahn A31 when travelling from the south or by the A28 when travelling from the east.

Anbahnung und Anreise waren problemlos, die Vermieter freundlich, unkompliziert und entgegenkommend.
Dass das Haus vor 10 Jahren kernsaniert wurde, wie es in der Beschreibung steht, sollte man nicht mit zu hohen Erwartungen verbinden. Es ist ein sehr altes Anwesen, aber für 2 Personen großzügig sowohl was den Platz als auch was die Einrichtung betrifft. Die Küche hatte ziemlich alles, was man braucht, und auch von allem genug, so dass man nicht ständig spülen muss. Der Hinterhofgarten ist nett angelegt und unkompliziert zu nutzen. Man ist wirklich zu Fuß in 10 Minuten in der Emdener Innenstadt, und noch schneller im nächsten Park oder am Wasser.
Parkmöglichkeiten fanden wir eigentlich immer in der 3-Minuten-zu-Fuß-Umgebung.
Also in diesem Sinne empfehlenswert.

Hallo
in dem Ferienhaus von Fam. Arends hat uns super gefallen, wobei die Treppe zu 1.Stock einen sehr wackeligen Eindruck machte.......ansonsten schön mit der kleinen Terrasse+3 Fernseher!!findet man ja selten, auch alles sehr gepflegt +sauber
Auch die leckeren "Aufmerksamkeiten" für den Gast sind toll-Vielen Dank
Würden auf jeden Fall nochmal diese Unterkunft buchen
