Ausgezeichneter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen im Ötztal. Huben ist klein und ruhig, mit einem Mini-M-Preis schräg gegenüber der Wohnung. Größere Supermärkte sind innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Von der Wohnung aus gibt es viele Wanderwege, zum Beispiel nach Längenfeld über die Hängebrücke oder über die Teufelskanzel. Oder direkt hinauf zur Feuersteinhütte. Eine Wanderkarte der Umgebung ist in der Tourist-Information Längenfeld erhältlich.
Die Wohnung selbst ist in Ordnung. Wir wohnten unten (Wohnung „Edelweiß“), mit einer schönen großzügigen Terrasse (mit einer Art Hofgarten-Feeling, etwas eingeklemmt zwischen anderen Häusern), auf der man im September zwischen 10:30 und 15:00 Uhr in der Sonne sitzen kann. Oder schön und vor Regen geschützt, unter dem Balkon und dem Vordach über Ihnen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig genug für 2 Personen, das Badezimmer ist in Ordnung, die Küche auch, obwohl der Arbeitsraum begrenzt ist.
