The archive in the immediate vicinity, on foot or by bike: Radebachtal with hilly beech forests, monastery Tempzin with the largest rural monastery church in M.-V., Glammsee trail, hike to Steedersee or Rübensee.
Discovery canoe Glammsee-Tönniesbach-Blankenberg, where swimming bath Blankenberg, encounter with Kingfisher, Cuckoo, more recently with Biber, megalithic tombs at Mankmoos, bathing facilities at Großer Wariner See too.

Inmidst the Sternberger Lake District is the Holiday Village at Glammsee, on the edge of Mecklenburg town Warin (about 500 m).
The area around Warin is ideal for hiking and cycling. With enchanted forests, sandy paths and wonderfull lakes, as in the story, there are allways new and impressive sights.
The Glammsee can walk around in about an hour on foot. Wooded hills with romantic woddland walk with the sense, awaking scents alternate from there constantly.The easel in the spirit need to be taken with you.
Since it is not far to the Baltic Sea, this means a further incentive to spend time on an adventure holiday on Glammsee
From Hamburg take the A1 towards Lübeck, then continue on the A 20 towards Rostock. Behind Wismar take the exit Zurow/Neukloster, from there on the B 192 continues to drive towards Sternberg.
In Warin jou take the first traffic light after right on the L 031 towards Ventschow/Nisbill to , then after about 250 m left the second exit heading "Waldheim/Feriendorf am Glammsee" ((pay attention to the signpost !). In Waldheim drive around the grace mount , about 500 m the Village is to the left hand.
