Just a short walk up the street and you are on the beach promenade. Facing the other direction, you are only a few steps away from the beautiful town center. Shopping facilities, restaurants, cafes and the water park "Gezeitenland" with sauna area are within walking distance.
Getting there
Travel comfortably by train to Emden Außenhafen and then hop directly onto the AG-Ems ferry to Borkum. There the island train awaits you, which takes you to the train station of Borkum. If you are traveling by car, you can either take the ferry from Emden, or from Eemshaven in the Netherlands. There are parking facilities for leaving your car on the mainland in both ports.
