Kastelruth and the surrounding area offer a variety of sporting opportunities as well as cultural events.
The hiking opportunities range from easy to moderate, and also for mountain bikers there are countless specially planned routes of all difficulty levels. In spring and autumn, the hiking opportunities are a special experience, mainly because of the spring bloom, and respectively, the autumn colours of the deciduous trees and larks.
In winter, the Seiser Alm offers every winter sports enthusiast (downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, ski tours, winter hiking) everything your heart desires.
The cultural events range from musical events to exclusive castle concerts and weekly evening concerts in the summer.
