Visit cinemas, theatres, galleries, as well as the historical centre (with marketplace, Bremen Town Musicians, city hall, Schütting, Böttcherstrasse, cathedral and Schnoor).
Relax in the nearby swimming-pool or take a walk along the river Weser!
Bremerhaven with its zoo by the sea, emigrant- and climate house are worth visiting.
Our holiday apartment is situated in a quiet byroad in the nice Bremen "river quarter".
Just round the corner, Pappelstrasse, our shopping street... or better "promenade" with a variety of shops.
Supermarkets, bakeries, delicatessen stores, health food store, (ice) cafés, restaurants, flower shops, bookshop, hairdressers etc.
... there is a small weekly market as well.
Stops for tram and bus are almost in front of the house. You can reach the city centre comfortably by foot.
By train:
From main station take tram line 6 (in the direction of airport), get off at Gastfeldstrasse. Then go right in Pappelstrasse and on the opposite side of the street in "Bachstrasse" .
By airplane:
From the airport take tram line 6 (in the direction of university), get off at Gastfeldstrasse. From there go in "Pappelstrasse" and on the left in "Bachstrasse"
