    Leave everyday life behind at Gut Falkenberg. The stand-alone location amidst luxurious pastures and natural meadows offers relaxation at any time of year. Enjoy the park with beautiful old trees and take extended walks in the private forest (hunting opportunity available), bathing lake within cycling distance. If you have a desire for culture, you will find Gottorf Castle just 5 km away with the restored Globe of Gottdorf, Hedeby and the Dannewerk (Viking museum), cathedral and the Fischerholm. There are numerous water activities offered in Schleswig. North and Baltic Seas are both reachable in 45 min., as in Denmark. There are climbing gardens and Altenhof golf course in Eckernförde, just 20 min, away.
    Getting there
    By car: A7 exit Schleswig-Schuby, left towards Kappeln, right towards Idstedt/Schliekieker, left at the crossroads towards Idstedt, 2nd entrance on the left behind the Gasthaus Ruhekrug (Lindenallee). By train: to Schleswig, then taxi to Gut Falkenberg, Ruhekrug 19 (behind Real). By plane: to Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel, then airport bus to Fuhlsbüttel-Neumünster. In Nemünster, you can take the train to Schleswig, then a taxi.

    Wir waren als Familie über Pfingsten das 2. Mal auf Gut Falkenberg zu Gast (2019 in der Ferienwohnung "AlterPferdestall") und wieder völlig begeistert von der tollen Lage im herrlichen Park mit altem Baumbstand und kleinem See. Zwar hat das Wetter diesmal nicht besonders mitgespielt, dafür hat uns die geschmackvolle Einrichtung der großzügig zugeschnittenen Ferienwohnung mit Kamin, perfekt ausgestatteter Küche und 2 Bädern mehr als entschädigt. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank an die freundliche Gastgeberfamilie von Samson.
