Cancellation policy
In the event of withdrawal, Reetland may demand compensation from the customer for the arrangements made and expenses incurred. The amount of this compensation claim is determined by the proximity of the time of cancellation to the agreed arrival date; the decisive factor here is the time of receipt of the declaration of cancellation by Reetland, which must be made in writing. Outside of the high season, the compensation claim is staggered into the following flat rates:
29 to 15 days before the planned arrival date: 70% of the agreed rent
14 to 7 days before the planned arrival date: 80% of the agreed rent
6 days before the planned arrival date:: 90% of the agreed rent
In the high season , cancellation is possible only up to four weeks before arrival.
In all cases of cancellation, a processing fee of EUR 50 will be charged.
Cancellation is not possible after arrival. In the event of a no-show or early departure, the full amount of the rental fee – less a flat rate for saved expenses (10% of the rent) – must be paid. The customer is free to provide evidence that the claim did not arise or did not arise to the amount claimed. In cases of cancellation, no-show, or early departure, Reetland will endeavour to rent the property to someone else. In the event of success, the (re-)letting fee obtained will be credited towards the above compensation claim.
