    The surrounding area is ideal for cycling, hiking and horse riding. Walk in the footsteps of the Vikings, relax in your own beach chair on the sandy beach in Eckernförde, stroll along largely unspoilt beaches on the Baltic Sea, cross the eastern hills, the Geest, the Marsch, on the way to the North Sea
    Holiday destination
    The “Alte Diele Osterbyholz,” Wohldwisch Farm, is located between the Schlei (Haithabu, Schleswig, Kappeln), the Baltic Sea (Eckernförde), the Wittensee, the Hüttener Berge Nature Park (Bistensee), not far from the Schwansen peninsula (Waabs, Damp) and the Danish Wohld in the midst of agricultural nature, with wonderful hiking, cycling and riding trails through fields, forests and meadows. Flensburg and Kiel are both about 30 minutes away. And even the North Sea is not very far away (approx. 1 hour by car)
    Getting there
    From the south via the A7, exit Rendsburg/Büdelsdorf B203 direction Eckernförde, exit Groß Wittensee, direction Damendorf, then direction Osterby/Osterbyholz. From the north via the A7, exit Owschlag, L265 towards Eckernförde, at Osterby turn right towards Osterbyholz. From Kiel or Schleswig via the B76 to Eckernförde, then via the L265 towards A7/Owschlag, at Osterby turn left to Osterbyholz.

    Wir durften im Winter einige wunderbare Tage in der Alten Diele verbringen und sind immer noch begeistert. Die Wohnung ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail und hochwertigen Möbeln eingerichtet, insbesondere die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Drinnen war es herrlich gemütlich: Die Fußbodenheizung und der Kamin haben für eine wohltuende Wärme gesorgt, die uns nach unseren Ausflügen in die schöne Umgebung immer wieder empfangen hat. Die Natur ringsherum ist einfach traumhaft, und es gibt viele tolle Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und Ausflüge, selbst im Winter. Anne und Dirk sind außergewöhnlich herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die uns mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft beeindruckt haben. Wir können die Alte Diele absolut empfehlen und hoffen sehr, dass wir in Zukunft wiederkommen können!

    Supercalifragilisticexpialigetisch. Das trifft es ungefähr. Für die ausführliche Schilderung reicht der Platz hier nicht aus, also versuche ich ein Mittelmaß zu finden. Die Kritik zuerst: Es gibt keine Katzenklappe, die Katzen konnten sich ihre Leckerlis also nicht selbst holen, sondern mussten jeden Tag auf uns warten. ( Danke an Nala & Silent Bob für den Hinweis! )Alles andere: siehe oben. Der Fotograf, der die Bilder gemacht hat ist wirklich gut, aber trotzdem ist der Zauber der alten Diele nicht zur Hälfte eingefangen. Nie hat der Ausdruck "Oase der Ruhe" für mich so gut gepasst. Erholung in Reinform vom ersten Espresso bis zum ( für uns sehr schweren! ) Abschied. Dazwischen: Gastfreundschaft, wie man sie heute sonst nicht mehr findet. Anne & Dirk:DANKE! Wir kommen wieder!
