Getting there
By car, you typically take the A1 to Oldenburg/Holstein Süd, then the B 202 towards Lütjenburg/Kiel and follow the signs for Hohwacht in Kaköhl, then continue for another 5 km.
From Kiel, take the B76, then the B202 towards Lütjenburg and follow the signs to Hohwacht in Schmiedendorf, then continue for 6 km.
The best way to get there by train is via Plön, as there are hourly buses directly to Hohwacht (approx. 25 km) that are coordinated with the train connection.
