Holiday destination
The apartment is located in the beautiful, quiet bay of Canico-Garajau. Beyond the blooming garden the eye faces the famous 'Cristo Rei' in front of the majestic Atlantic. Ships of all dimensions pass along. Consistently dolphins and even Whales appear in the bay.
About 5 min you need by foot as well to the sea shore as to a bustling shopping street with supermarketes, coffee shops, and good and reasonable restaurants. The only 12 min distanced center of the capital of Funchal invites fo excursations through the city , the lively marina and in evening rambles into the beautiful historic lanes of the old city. Other excursation pathes lead up to the center of the island für walks along the 'Levadas' or to high alpine regions.

Im September 2024 verbrachten wir wunderschöne Ferien bei Familie Truger.
Das wichtigste war die sehr schöne Lage mit direktem Blick aufs Meer inmitten eines liebevoll gepflegten Garten.
Unser Gastgeber Heinrich kümmerte sich um alles und war äußerst hilfsbereit!
Die Wohnung war in einem 1a Zustand, sauber, liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet.
In der Küche war alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. In unmittelbare Nähe gibt es zwei kleine Supermärkte
Die Betten waren sehr bequem, kurzum: alles perfekt.
