Holiday destination

Agriturismo Vinci is located in a picturesque region of Tuscany known as Chianti Classico, where world famous Chianti wines are produced. The village we are near, Gaiole in Chianti, is at the center of the original Chianti region, first defined in 1716. A short drive away are a surprising variety of historic castles and villages well worth a visit, Florence and Siena are both less than an hour away.

Getting there

If you are coming by car and have a GPS, enter "Via Guglielmo Marconi, Gaiole in Chianti, Italy". Coming from the north, take the autostrada A1 towards Rome. About 35 km after Florence, take the exit Val D'Arno (Valdarno) and drive in the direction of Montevarchi. Once in Montevarchi, follow the signs to Siena or Gaiole. It will take about 25 minutes to reach Gaiole. Once in Gaiole, follow the main street through the village, and then follow the signs toward Barbischio onto Via Guglielmo Marconi. The entrance to our estate is about 500 meters from the center of Gaiole, marked by a "Vinci" / "Le Contrade" sign.

Wir waren über Ostern im Tartucca und waren begeistert ab der gemütlich gepflegten Einrichtung und der wunderschönen Lage dieses Agriturismos. Der Hauskeepingservice ist sehr diskret und auch der Frühstückskorb mit Eier, Käse und Schinken versprechen einen perfekten Start in den Tag. Im Haus lädt die vollständige Infrastruktur (von der Nespressomaschine bis zum Föhn und einer Auswahl an Büchern) zum Ausruhen und Verweilen ein. Wir waren täglich im wunderschönen Chianti Classico spazieren (empfehlenswert ist ein Gang zum eigenen See oder ins benachbarte Barbischio) Den Genuss vollendet hat jeweils ein Besuch ins Restaurant Le Contrade, welches durch charmanten Service und eine für die Gegend unglaublich raffinierte, aber doch authentische Küche besticht. Sehr empfehlenswert auch für Familien mit Kindern.

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in diesem Bijou. Es ist alles da was man sich wünscht und man kann seinen Urlaub entspannt geniessen. Der eigene Badesee ist unglaublich!!! Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!!!
