Holiday destination
The house is located on the western edge of a quiet agricultural workers' settlement, so there are unobstructed views of the "Sierra de las Nieves". It is 25 minutes away from the beaches of the "Costa del Sol". It is also not far from the "White Villages" or the famous "Camino del Rey".
Getting there
It is 20 km from Malaga airport by rental car or cab. It is also possible to travel by train to the neighboring town of Pizarra, 4km away.

Host informationI worked in Spain as a teacher of textile art and restoration. Twenty years ago I bought and restored this small guesthouse. I enjoy spending time with good food and also offer cooking classes to my guests. Casa Cerralba is the perfect place for families and friends to feel at home together. As is usual in Andalusia, hospitality and openness are important values for me. As I like to travel myself to get to know the culture and customs of the people, it is important to me to make this possible for all guests of Casa Cerralba - the hinterland of Málaga is exactly the right place for this.

Zentral zwischen der Stadt, verschiedenen Stränden und den Bergen mit Sehenswürdigkeiten gelegen. Im Haus gibt es eine geräumige, gut ausgestattete Küche, Grill sowie Esstisch drinnen und draußen. Es gibt eine Metzgerei um die Ecke und einen kleinen Laden mit Gemüse aus der Region mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Unsere Gastgeberin welche im Nebenhaus wohnt war immer hilfsbereit, hat uns einen Korb Orangen geschenkt und wir haben mit ihr einen Kochkurs bei ihr gemacht. Der Pool ohne Chlor war noch etwas kalt und hatte etwas Algenbewuchs, was aber für einen Naturpool normal ist, und das saubere Wasser war wirklich einladend.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen

Wir verbrachten den Winter zu zweit in diesem gemütlichen Haus auf dem Grundstück von Cármen und Tobias. Die Gastgeber sind fantastisch - Tobias erklärt viel über die Gegend, während Cármen mit köstlicher lokaler Küche begeistert. So lernt man die Region authentisch kennen!
Das Haus ist großzügig und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Küche wäre etwas mehr Platz praktisch, aber nur bei Langzeitaufenthalten relevant. Das Grundstück mit Naturpool ist ein Traum, selbst im Winter genossen wir die Sonne draußen.
Cerralba liegt 25-40 Minuten von Málaga entfernt - nah genug für Stadtbesuche, aber mit echtem Landgefühl. Der kleine Ort bietet Restaurants, Apotheke und zwei Läden. Für größere Einkäufe fährt man nach Pizarra oder Coin. Mit Tobias' Hilfe wurde das Kinderzimmer unser Büro. Internet funktioniert super
