Holiday destination
The holiday home is located in Altendorf, part of Kirnitzschtal and is thus in the immediate vicinity of many sights of Saxon Switzerland.
Discover the unique landscape and the bizarre cliff world of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
Our lovely village is directly on the Panoramaweg, which has lovely hikes with beautiful views.
A favourite excursion destination is also our state capital of Dresden, with the Church of Our Lady and the Semperoper
Getting there
Arrival via the A4:
From Dresdent, take motorway A17 toward Prague to the Pirna exit.
In Pirna take the B172a on the B 172 towards Bad Schandau/Tetschen (Decin).
In Bad Schandau follow the the S 154 towards Sebnitz. After 3 km, you've reached Altendorf. Take the 2nd street in the village which turns right to the Untere Dorfstrasse - the first house on the left is your holiday home.
Arrival via the A13:
From the Dresden Nord interchange drive towards Chemnitz on the A4, after about 5 km drive towards Prague on the A14 from the Dresden West interchange, then as above.

Die Ferienwohnung ist ein Traum: sehr sauber, sehr schön und modern eingerichtet - es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Sogar eine Auflaufform wurde auf Anfrage nachgeliefert :) Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben viele Ausflugstipps genutzt (inkl. Prag-Fahrt) und konnten so einen wunderbaren und abwechslungsreichen Urlaub in der Sächsischen Schweiz verbringen: vielen lieben Dank dafür an die Familie Müller. Wandern in der Felsenlandschaft, Stadtbesichtigungen (Dresden und Prag), Elbe runterfahren: dieses Gebiet bietet super viele Möglichkeiten für Familien. Die Busstation ist eine Minute von der Unterkunft entfernt und für das Auto gibt es einen Parkplatz am Haus. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Es war ein toller und erholsamer Urlaub: wir werden gewiss gerne wiederkommen.

Wir sind mit Hund verreist und fanden ein hervorragend ausgestattetes Haus vor. Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter gaben gute Tipps, die wir auch gerne angenommen haben. Obwohl wir teilweise schlechtes Wetter hatten, wurde uns nicht langweilig und man konnte es sich zusätzlich im Haus schön kuschelig machen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
