Cancellation policy
Of course, unexpected things can happen – but please note that a booking is binding. If you do not take up your reserved apartment or only partially use it (e.g. by cancelling, arriving late or leaving early), you are still legally obliged to pay the full price. This is not considered a claim for damages, but rather a claim for performance. Place of jurisdiction is Bolzano/Bozen.
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, your deposit will be credited for one year, but not refunded.
For cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, we charge 80% of the total booking amount.
In case of late arrival or early departure, the full amount will be charged.
Let’s be honest: cancellations are unpleasant for everyone – for us because the apartment stays empty, and for you because plans fall through. That’s why we highly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, which protects you from financial loss if things don’t go as planned.

Meransen lies at the foot of the Gitschberg, where you can enjoy beautiful hikes and visit a wide variety of mountain huts in summer. In winter, the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area offers 55 km of perfectly groomed slopes and a toboggan run that, at 4.5 km, is one of the longest in South Tyrol.
Holiday destination
The sunny village of Meransen is situated at 1,400 meters on a sunny panoramic terrace at the entrance of the South Tyrolean Puster Valley. This high plateau is one of the sunniest places in South Tyrol. The idyllic mountain village with just under 900 inhabitants offers a fascinating view of the Puster Valley, Eisack Valley, and the Dolomites.
Getting there
Meransen is located at the entrance to the Puster Valley, at 1,414 metres above sea level, perched above the village of Mühlbach. Our apartments are set in a quiet and sunny location, about a 10-minute walk from the village centre – peaceful yet conveniently close. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and easily reach hiking trails, ski lifts and local restaurants on foot. It’s the perfect spot for those seeking relaxation in nature without sacrificing comfort.
