Cancellation policy
If you, as the renter of the holiday property, withdraw from the contract, the landlord is entitled to compensation, which is standardized as a percentage of the total price, based on the customer's withdrawal date, as follows:
- up to the 50th day before the start of occupancy: 30%
- from the 49th to the 30th day before the start of occupancy: 50%
- from the 29th day before the start of occupancy: 90%
These cancellation rates do not apply to pandemic-related cancellations: If your arrival is prohibited by authorities due to border closures, travel or accommodation bans, you can, of course, rebook free of charge or cancel the booking.

Holiday destination
Capbreton is rightly considered one of the prettiest places on the coastal strip between Bordeaux and Biarritz.
As the neighboring town to the surfer's paradise of Hossegor, Capbreton has managed to retain the charm of the small fishing village it was well into the 20th century. Even today, local fishermen offer their catch twice a day at the picturesque harbor with its yachts and sailboats. There is also a fishing museum with a seawater aquarium and a variety of restaurants, some of which are excellent, as well as a casino.
Unlike many purely tourist towns, Capbreton has a grown town center, a tastefully restored pedestrian zone, and a very well-stocked weekly market with fruit, wine, and vegetable vendors, butchers, and fish shops from the area. In the summer, a general market with souvenirs and local products is added.
In recent years, a dense network of excellently marked bicycle paths has been created, extending far beyond the neighboring towns of Hossegor to the north and Labenne to the south. Since a free shuttle bus also operates in the summer, you really only need your car for excursions or larger shopping trips.
In addition to the four guarded Atlantic beaches, you can also swim in the Hossegor lake, about 3 km away, which also has a fine sandy beach. Sailing and windsurfing courses are also offered there.
Due to its central location, Capbreton is the ideal starting point for excursions to the north (Dune du Pilat, Bassin d'Arcachon) as well as to the south (Basque Country, Biarritz, San Sebastian, Pyrenees).

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist hell, gepflegt, großzügig. Es ist perfekt ausgestattet (Küchenutensilien alles da, riesiger Kühlschrank und Kühltruhe, super Waschmaschine etc). Man spürt, dass dort eine Familie lebt und glücklich ist. Es hat nicht den typischen leicht unterkühlten Charakter einer Ferienwohnung. Das mochten wir sehr. Der Garten ist wunderbar eingewachsen und direkt am Waldrand. Der Pool ist schön und wir hatten mit 2 Kindern viel Spaß darin. Die Eigentümer haben wir kurz kennengelernt. Sie sind nett und unkompliziert. Der Vermittler Herr Bell ist sehr nett, stets ansprechbar und gibt super Tipps (Restaurants)
