The nearby medieval villages in the hills near Cecina, such as Montescudaio, Guardistallo, or Casale Marittimo, are certainly worth a visit.
The Gulf of Baratti and the castle of Populonia as well as the Etruscan tombs are also definitely worth seeing.
Holiday destination
Cecina is located 36 km south of Livorno in the Maremma Pisana, a narrow plain between the coast and the Tuscan hills.
This lively town has developed into the center of the Riviera degli Etruschi in recent years. Accordingly, there is an extensive range of shops, restaurants, and leisure activities. Large weekly market (Tuesdays).
2.5 km west is the seaside resort Cecina Mare, with the beaches of Vada-Mazzanta 5 km away. In Cecina Mare and the surrounding area, there are various dog-friendly beaches. The pine forests with their natural beaches are perfect for resting and picnicking. The holiday home is an ideal starting point to get to know Tuscany.
Getting there
From the A12 motorway take the Vada exit, then continue south towards Grosseto/Rome until the exit for Variante Cecina Centro. Here, follow the direction to Bibbona through Via del Paratino. Turn left onto Via dei Parmigiani. At the end of the road, turn right and then take the first left onto Via dei Mandrioli. Continue for about 250 meters on the dirt road. The last house on the left is Casa I Mandrioli.

der riesige, ausbruchsichere Garten mit schönen Oliven- und Obstbäumen ermöglicht einen entspannten Urlaub mit Vierbeinern oder Kindern (wir waren mit 3 Hunden dort).
Nicola, der freundliche Hausbesitzer, steht jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung und wurde regelmäßig von unserer kleinen Hündin besucht - die beiden sind während unseres Aufenthaltes dicke Freunde geworden :-)
Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet - auf der schönen Terrasse lässt es sich auch bei höheren Temperaturen sehr gut aushalten.
Die ruhige und meernahe Lage garantiert einen entspannten Urlaub. Bars, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Wir empfehlen, bei Nicola Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion zu kaufen.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Ein traumhaftes Feriendomizil zum Ankommen, Ausruhen, Wohlfühlen und Abschalten!
Der Vermieter verwöhnt seine Gäste und lässt es ihnen an nichts fehlen - gerade auch perfekt für den Urlaub mit den Vierbeinern! Für uns immer wieder DAS Traumhaus in der wunderschönen Toskana (Maremma) für den erholsamen Sommerurlaub !
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine leckere Pizzeria in ca. 4 km mit dem Auto.
Wir fahren gerne auch mal etwas länger, um an einen wunderschönen Hundestrand zu kommen - in San Vincenco, Dog Beach! Ein wunderbarer Strand für Zwei- und Vierbeiner mit Agility Parcours, Liegen + Sonnenschirmen, Strandbar, Laden etc.
Die wunderschöne Maremma mit den vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten hat unser Herz im Sturm erobert und für uns immer wieder dieses Haus in der Toskana! *Daumen hoch*
