The former railway tracks along the coast have been converted into a bicycle path. This allows you to cycle from Diana Marina to Ospedaletti along the coast, with stops at cafes and restaurants and for swimming.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at the second exit from Imperia (Imperia-Ovest), immediately after the toll booth turn left towards San Remo and then right onto the coastal road Via Aurelia towards San Remo/San Lorenzo al Mare. In the town of San Lorenzo al Mare, turn right up towards Costarainera. Just before you reach the town, turn right before the sports field onto Via del cimitero. Parking is available on both the right and left sides, although unfortunately, the left parking is now reserved for locals (but this should not be a problem for loading and unloading). Then walk up the narrow street and turn right onto Via della Repubblica; our house No. 41 is at the end of the alley, on the corner of Via Dottor Raineri. Inside the entrance of the house, under the "daybed," there is a trolley for luggage transport. Release the clasp on one of the sides and push the sides apart (after use, pull the loop in the middle of the shelf up and let the side clasp snap back into place).
