Holiday destination
The village of Valkenburg is a quiet village where you can go for your daily shopping, but there is also plenty to do in the area. Valkenburg is known for the former naval airfield Valkenburg Vliegkamp, which was closed in July 2006. Since 30 October 2010, the highly successful musical Soldaat van Oranje has been performed in one of the hangars of this former airport. Valkenburg has a rich history of Roman times on the Rhine. Much can be found in the Tower Museum. The beach of Katwijk is 4.5 km and the bustling Leiden about the same distance. Leiden has a lot of museums, restaurants and beautiful canals.

Das Häuschen ist nett und ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Sitzplatz vor dem Haus ist allerdings nicht sehr gemütlich und könnte bequemer bzw. netter gestaltet sein. Das Geschirr ist etwas knapp bemessen.
