Halfway between St. Tropez and Cannes, the commune of Fréjus - St. Aygulf offers a slightly different side of the Côte d'Azur, as well as exceptional sandy beaches, magnificent natural landscapes, historical or cultural heritage, festive atmosphere... Whether it's a holiday with friends or a family vacation, Saint Aygulf offers an ideal location to feel good and relaxed.
The Plage des Esclamandes is the largest sandy beach in Saint-Aygulf. It is located at the exit of St-Aygulf towards Fréjus on the Corniche d’Azur. There is a large parking lot.

The beach is divided into four sections: the area for families, a nudist area, a section for kitesurfers, and a dog beach.
The section closest to the parking lot of Saint-Aygulf is suitable for families; it has three beautiful coves protected by breakwaters. (Moving towards the center of the lake, the beach becomes a nudist beach).
The nudist area begins in the middle of the Etang de Villepey. This is the quietest section of the Esclamandes Beach. One can reach the beach either by walking along the coast from the parking lot or by taking the path to the Etangs de Villepey nature reserve at the end of the parking lot (towards Fréjus). This beach is the most beautiful nudist beach in Var.
Behind the nudist zone towards Fréjus is the Kite Surf area. This section extends to the Riviere de l’Argens river (the mouth of the river is very popular with anglers). The river forms the border to Fréjus, where the Plage de Pacha de Fréjus is located.
The commune of Saint-Aygulf is part of Fréjus and offers over 4 km of fine sandy beaches, from which shuttle boats depart to view the coast of Porquerolles on the Iles de Lérins from the sea. The Etangs de Villepey form a lagoon over 260 hectares with a diverse flora and fauna (over 260 animal species have been observed in this area). The Aréca Park covers an area of 3.5 hectares with typical Mediterranean vegetation and its dominant scents (eucalyptus, bamboo, oleander).
