Cancellation policy
6. Cancellation:
6.1. The landlord may be compelled by special circumstances to cancel and dissolve the rental agreement. Cancellation and dissolution must be done in writing. In such a case, the landlord will do their utmost to offer an alternative to the tenant. If this is not satisfactory to the tenant, the landlord will refund all amounts paid by the tenant, without any liability on the part of the landlord.
6.2. The tenant is entitled to cancel and dissolve the rental agreement, subject to the following:
6.2.1. Cancellation and dissolution must first be reported by telephone, after which you confirm this by registered letter, including the rental agreement. This letter should be addressed to Walcheren Vakanties in Domburg.
6.2.2. If canceled within 24 hours after booking, the option right is valid (see point 5).
6.2.3. If canceled after 24 hours and up to 3 months before the start of the rental period, 15% of the rental sum will be charged.
6.2.4. If canceled between 3 months and 1 month before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental sum will be charged.
6.2.5. If canceled between 1 month and 1 week before the start of the rental period, 75% of the rental sum will be charged.
6.2.6. If canceled less than 1 week before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental sum will be charged.
At all times, the administration costs will be due upon cancellation.
6.3. After receiving a cancellation from the tenant, the landlord will prepare a cancellation invoice, taking into account the provisions of this article. Any monies already paid will be settled in accordance with the content of the cancellation invoice, and any remaining balance in favor of the tenant will be refunded.
