The cabin is very centrally located, so you can strap on your hiking backpack right outside the front door and set off on a cozy or even extensive hike, or you can hop on the saddle of your mountain bike and explore the region on two wheels.
Adventure and culinary delights, of course, leave nothing to be desired.
At Klippitztörl, the summer toboggan run offers a rapid descent down the mountain, and in the nearby adventure climbing park, there is nothing to stop a thrill-seeker from experiencing the excitement at lofty heights.
In the numerous surrounding country inns and managed alpine huts, you can indulge your taste buds with, for example, a genuine "Lavanttaler Jause" without limits.
Very close to the cabin is a small self-service store "die Preimsner Jausenbox," where countless local products from farmers in the region can be found.
In winter, the ski slope is practically right outside the front door. In 10 minutes by car, you can reach the 28 kilometers of slopes at Klippitztörl, and whether with skis, snowboard, touring skis, or snowshoes, nothing stands in the way of an unforgettable winter holiday.
