Welcome to the holiday oasis at Lake Fiskestadssjön, behind this name lies a small and family-friendly holiday village in Småland, consisting of two cores with five identical holiday homes each and heated outdoor pools. The location is fantastic with a lake view over the fish-rich Lake Fiskestadssjön in southern Småland. Perfect for the planned (multi-) family holiday with many activity possibilities on site.
The holiday village has two adjacent areas with holiday homes. Each area has access to its own pool area. All houses have lake views and are located close to the enclosed pool areas. The pools are surrounded by large wooden terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers, are heated and have glass sliding roofs.
You have your own terrace with 8 chairs and a large table in a garden pavilion. There is also a charcoal grill and sun loungers with grill and comfortable seating under a garden pavilion.
There are asphalted walkways between the holiday homes, new pool areas and walking paths by the lake.
All holiday homes have WC and shower, kitchen and an open living area, as well as 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each.
On the site, we find a beach volleyball field and large lawn areas for every form of play and fun.
Excursions can be made, for example, to the animal park on Öland, the Western city High Chaparall, Barnens gård (children's experience park), Kreativum or to the world of Astrid Lindgren.
Fishing on Lake Åsnen or Fiskestadssjö
Fiskestadssjö is known for its large perch and pike. You can fish from the shore, pier or boat. Also feel free to take a trip to one of the nearby islands.
Nearby is also Lake Åsnen, which is among the top ten Swedish fishing waters. There are fishing guides and night fishing for zander! For anglers who want to fish in flowing water, there is also the Mörrumsån as an alternative.
If you want to fish, you must buy a fishing card. You can purchase this at the ICA Supermarket in Väckelsång (about 5 minutes by car from the holiday village). Minors under 18 do not need a fishing card. Daily fishing cards cost about 100 SEK, weekly fishing cards cost 200 SEK. The fishing cards are valid for Fiskestadssjön (lake) and Kroksjön (lake).
