Lohmen is centrally located for many great excursions. Hiking and climbing enthusiasts can explore the picturesque Saxon Switzerland with its many via ferratas and hiking trails.
Those with shopping fever will get their money's worth in Dresden and can also admire the historic old town. The Elbe invites you to go canoeing or cycling on the Elbe cycle path.
Bathing fun can be had at the Bad Schandau thermal baths or the Geibeltbad Pirna.

Im Juli verbrachten wir, mit unserer Enkeltochter, eine Woche im Ferienhaus der Familie Bitriol.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen.
Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas außerhalb vom Ort, mitten in der Natur.
Ruhe und Erholung sind hier garantiert !
Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man braucht.
Da wir die ganze Woche herrliches Wetter hatten, konnten wir alle Mahlzeiten und lange Spieleabende auf der schönen Terrasse genießen.
Ein Eichhörnchen und ein Specht waren tägliche Besucher.
Am Abend konnten wir die Rehe beobachten.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Tage in Lohmen und der herrlichen Umgebung sehr genossen.
Das Ferienhaus mit dieser herrlichen Lage können wir zu 100 % weiter empfehlen.
