St. Jakob is nestled in one of the most beautiful high Alpine valleys of Tyrol, the Defereggental, and serves as an excellent starting point for unforgettable mountain tours, hikes, and strolls. Far from traffic and mass tourism, this is a perfect spot to unwind. Slowing down from the first minute is guaranteed ;-). The proximity to Italy makes for delightful excursions to neighboring South Tyrol in the summer.
Our house is located away from the main road in a quiet and sunny position. The town center, ski bus stop, supermarket, cafes, and restaurants are all within a 5-minute walk. The entrance to the cross-country ski trail is just 2 minutes away. By car, you can reach the ski area in 5 minutes or the Defereggental Golf Park in the summer.
