Getting there
In the midst of the village yet with immediate access to nature. Also easily accessible by public transportation. The nearest bus stop, Hohegeiß Hindenburgstraße, is only a 250m walk away. A bakery and a small grocery store are equally quickly reachable.
By train, it's best to travel to Bad Harzburg or Walkenried and continue from there by bus. Once you arrive, you can use your guest card to use most bus connections in the Harz for free.

This is also reflected in my apartments and the shared garden. 'Ordered wilderness' probably describes it best. If you're looking for neatly trimmed grass in the front yard, I'm not sure if you'll feel comfortable with me. And perhaps you'd like to be inspired by the wild roses and the even wilder nature of the Harz. I look forward to your visit!

Wir kommen gerne in den Harz und kennen viele Ferienwohnungen. Dieser Ferienwohnung liegt schön zentral im Dorf und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Besitzerin war freundlich.
Leider war das Haus nicht sauber (mit Ausnahme der Bettwäsche), unter den Betten lag viel Staub und auch die Teppiche waren staubig. Im Badezimmer roch es nach Abwasser. Wir haben unser Bestes getan, um es sauber zu bekommen. Vergeblich. Wir sind deshalb einen Tag früher nach Hause gefahren.

Liebe Familie Hagg,
vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Es tut mir leid zu hören, dass Sie nicht zufrieden waren und deshalb sogar früher abgereist sind. Das trifft mich sehr, denn meine Gäste liegen mir am Herzen.
Mein Haus ist ein altes Fachwerkhaus, das regelmäßig gründlich gereinigt wird. Durch die vielen kleine Fugen entsteht jedoch schneller wieder Staub. Aber es stimmt: Staub unter den Betten sollte nicht vorkommen. Das werde ich mir zu Herzen nehmen und besser kontrollieren. Den Hinweis auf den Geruch im Bad nehme ich ernst und habe die Abflüsse noch einmal gründlich reinigen lassen.
Ich hoffe, Sie konnten trotz allem eine schöne Zeit im Harz verbringen.
