Today's traveler loves variety, and that's exactly what you'll find in Egmond: The former fishing village with its cozy beach, street cafes, and shops, is located right behind the dunes and boasts a 5 km long beach with pavilions, a sailing and catamaran center, bicycle storage, and parking.
The beach is also accessible for people with light disabilities. The van Speyk Lighthouse is open for visits at certain times.
Getting there
Take exit 10-Castricum and follow the N203/N8 towards Uitgeest. Then continue on the N203. After 6.2 km, turn left onto Zeeweg/N513. After 2.4 km, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Heereweg. At the first traffic light (after 6.5 km), turn left onto Heiloöer Zeeweg. At the next traffic light, go straight ahead, and at the following traffic light, turn left onto Voorstraat. Continue straight, still heading towards the center. Stop right at the church, enter Trompstraat, go straight ahead. Take the third street on the left: Julianastraat, go straight ahead, and then take the street on the left, Achterom 15 in Egmond aan Zee. Here you will find the apartment.
