Our holiday home is located in the small town of Pogum, right where the Ems flows into Dollard Bay. Our house is surrounded by meadows and pastures on three sides and is about 150 m behind...

If you like watching seabirds, you'll find opportunities along the dyke or in little 'peeking boxes'.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 6 weeks before the scheduled start of your stay. Cancellations made at a later date will be liable to a fee of 50% of the booking price if the property cannot be rented to anyone else.

Holiday destination
Whoever loves open skies and the vastness of East Frisia and is looking for some peace, will fit right in here.
Biking trails lead through fields, pastures and meadows, right to the Dutch border and to the many village chapels in the area.
The picturesque harbour in the fishing village of Ditzum is just 1.2 km away. There is a supermarket, café and other shops here, which mainly offer local cuisine.
You can get across the Ems to Petkum with the ferry from Ditzum. By bus or bike, you can easily reach the port town of Emden. There are multiple buses to Leer - about 24 km - from Pogum and Ditzum.
Cruises to the Netherlands or to the island of Borkum are offered in Ditzum.
Getting there
1. With the train to Leer/East Frisia. With the public bus from the bus station to Pogum. Route 605.
2. Coming from Bremen by car on the A 28/E 22, drive through the Emstunnel at Leer and exit at the end of the tunnel towards Jemgum.
Drive through Jemgum and on through small villages via Ditzum to Pogum. Take the Schafweg (on the right) over a small bridge just before you leave the town. Number 4 is the second house on the right.
3. Coming from the south by car on the A 31, exit 12 (Jemgum). Continue following the instructions from point 2,
or take exit 13 (Weener) and travel via Bunde, Ditzumerhammrich from the south to Pogum. Take Schafweg (on the left) immediately after the town sign via the small bridge.

Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt. Gastgeber hat es verstanden da zu sein aber trotzdem uns die Ruhe zu gönnen. Es war alles da was man brauchte.

Für unsere Anreise war alles bestens organisiert. Die Ferienwohnung hat einen separaten Eingang und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was gebraucht wird. Es gab Handtücher und die Betten waren bezogen. Alles war sauber und gemütlich. Es gibt einen großen Garten mit vielen wunderbaren Bäumen, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig an der Straße, die direkt zum Deich führt. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man schnell in Ditzum, dort gibt es einige Restaurants, vor allem das Fischhus ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Frau und Herr Barnbeck sind sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber, es fehlte uns nichts.
Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns für die Gastfreundschaft!
