Holiday destination
This fully furnished holiday home is located on the highest point of a ridge, near the nature reserve Glaskogen. Discover spring, summer, autumn and winter in the gorgeous region of our holiday home.
The house is situated in the south-west of Värmland, near the border with Dalsland, in a wooded area with lots of rocks directly on the picturesque lake Silen.
The town Algana has its own beach and water sports enthusiasts can make use of the small harbour with boat ramp and direct connection to Dalslandkal.
The lake is GREAT for fishing. In the near vicinity you'll find a tennis court, golf course and miniature golf course.
The region is ideal for: hiking, swimming, canoeing as well as ice fishing and cross-country skiing in the winter.
Getting there
Algana is located near Årjäng in the south-western part of the province of Värmland, close to the border with Dalsland and the nature reserve Glaskogen. The holiday home Silltal is easy to reach even in winter.

Wir haben hier 2 wunderschöne Wochen verbringen dürfen. Dieses Haus ist natürlich nichts für Menschen die feiern möchten oder Städtebesuche brauchen. Hier fühlt sich wohl, der die Natur und etwas Ruhe liebt. Die Landschaft ist einfach sehr schön. Man kann wandern oder auch einmal garnichts machen und den Geräuschen der Natur zuhören. Das Haus selbst ist absolut perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem, der Platz ist riesig, die Kücheneinrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen, die riesige Terrasse einfach Klasse mit der Sicht auf den See. Ein weiterer Hit ist natürlich die Holzofensauna, die wir die 2 Wochen fast jeden Tag nutzten. Alles in Allem kann man diese Ferienunterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an Familie Doornbos.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Haus liegt mitten in der Natur mit vielen Spazierwegen rundherum und um den See. Bei fast jedem Spaziergang haben wir Wildtiere gesehen - Rehe, Hasen, Eichhörnchen, Kraniche, Wildgänse, ... und auch einen Elch! Einmal kam sogar ein Reh direkt vor das Haus und ließ sich in aller Ruhe aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster beobachten.
Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, liebevoll und bestens ausgestattet - wir haben nichts vermisst. Es ist reichlich Informationsmaterial über das Haus und die Umgebung vorhanden. Auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter lief reibungslos ab.
Wir können das Haus allen empfehlen, die die schwedische Natur in vollen Zügen genießen wollen ohne auf Komfort zu verzichten.
