The farmhouse is located near open water and in the midst of the Frisian lakes. The owner has 2 canoes that you may use after sufficient consultation. The area is great for fishing and cycling. The picturesque villages in the vicinity or the forests of Gaasterland are definitely worth a visit. In Lemmer, there are various shops and small beaches where you can enjoy yourself in the summer.
