Holiday destination

It would definitely be great to bring your own boat or to rent one and in this way discover Friesland from the water. The Frisian landscape is all around the park. But you can also enjoy the fresh air and the magnificent cloudscapes. Adjacent to the park is a 5-star campsite with many recreational facilities, a store, a subtropical swimming pool, an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and a marina. You are just a few kilometers away from the IJsselmeer coast with its small intimate beaches, excellent surfing spots, and the picturesque old Zuiderzee towns such as Stavoren, Hindeloopen, and Workum. From Koudum, you can also take beautiful cycling tours (or walks) along the lakes or through the forests of Gaasterland. This beautiful holiday home is an excellent accommodation to experience an unforgettable holiday with 6 people (even in winter, the house is located directly on the 'Elfstedentocht' route (Eleven Cities Tour on ice). The village of Koudum has a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, bicycle and boat rental, a swimming pool, and bowling alleys. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment. Arrival time: 3 PM.
