You can bring your own boat or rent one to discover Friesland from the water. At the sailing school in Hemelum, you can rent a sailing boat with a 10% discount by arrangement. From your private dock, you sail directly onto the rivers and the Morra. You are just a few kilometers from the IJsselmeer coast with its small intimate beaches, excellent surfing spots, and the picturesque old Zuiderzee towns such as Stavoren, Hindeloopen, and Workum. From Koudum, you can make magnificent bike rides (or walks) through the forests of Gaasterland or along the lakes. In the beautiful southwest corner of Friesland, you can enjoy fresh air, sun, water, and the specific Frisian landscape. This beautiful holiday home is an excellent accommodation for a wonderful vacation (also in winter, the apartment is located on the Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour on ice)). The village of Koudum has a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, bicycle and boat rentals, a swimming pool, and bowling alleys, banks, and other stores. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the holiday apartment. Arrival time: 3 PM. Departure time: 11 AM.
