    Midlum is located in the middle of the chilled island, Föhr. Unfortunately, the small village, in which many Ur-Föhrers still live, is pretty often ignored by tourists. That' s a pity. Because it is strategically located. It is the same distance from Nieblum as well as from Wyk (4km) on the signposted cycle paths. In Midlum itself, which has many thatched houses, there is a typical Frisian restaurant, Midlumer Krog, which serves superb dishes.
    Getting there
    From the ferry port take the direction of the island villages. Follow the "Dörpstraat" through Oevenum, then turn left into "Mühlenweg" and then the 1st street on the right into Schulweg. After 200m on the left is the "Mühlentäfelum". At the end of this little street you will see "Kegelrobbe" on the right side.

    Das Haus " Kegelrobbe" ist sehr gepflegt und hat uns super gut gefallen. Es wurde geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Besonders die große gut ausgestattete Küche mit der Kochinsel und großen Esstisch bot Platz für gemeinsames Kochen und Beisammensein von uns fünf Freundinnen. Der schöne Ort Midlum liegt zentral und war somit ein guter Startpunkt für unsere Radtouren zu allen Orten und Küstenabschnitten. Unterwegs konnten wir die vielfältige Natur genießen und viel frische Nordseeluft tanken. Herr Otto hat uns schon vor unserer Anreise mit vielen Tipps und Informationen versorgt, sodass wir bestens informiert waren. Vielen Dank dafür, das war sehr freundlich und nicht selbstverständlich. Auf jeden Fall kann ich das Ferienhaus weiterempfehlen.

    Wir haben einen Mehrgenerationen-Urlaub in der Kegelrobbe verbracht und haben uns einfach rundum wohlgefühlt! Angefangen bei den sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten, großzügigen Räumlichkeiten, über die vollständig ausgestatte Küche, bis hin zum bequemen Strandkorb lässt das Ferienhaus im Grunde keine Wünsche offen! Man spürt direkt beim Betreten des Hauses, dass hier mit Herzblut eine Ferienoase geschaffen wurde, in der man wirklich entspannen kann - egal bei welchem Wetter! Abgerundet wird der Aufenthalt durch einen sehr netten, total bemühten Kontakt zum Vermieter und der Hausverwalterin vor Ort. Wir sind hanz glücklich, dieses Haus für unseren Urlaub entdeckt gehabt zu haben und können es mehr als weiterempfehlen!
