Holiday destination
Experience the varied cultural wine landscape of the Moselle Valley. Recover from everyday stress by going on hiking tours in Mesenich and the surrounding area (e.g. the Calmont Klettersteig (via ferrata) between Eller and Bremm, the hiking trails Apolloweg in Valwig or the Steinreichskäppweg between Mesenich and Senheim) with numerous scenic lookouts into the Moselle Valley.
You can play golf on the 9-hole and the 18-hole course at Ediger-Eller on a slope above the Moselle.
Enjoy Mesenich's annual wine festival on the 1st weekend in August as well as the street wine festival -the annual 'Kellerkirmes' in Mesenich- on the 2nd weekend in September.
Getting there
Coming from the north:
A 61, A 48, take the Kaisersech exit, take the L 98 to Cochem, continue straight over the Moselle bridge, head right and continue on the L 98 towards Beilstein, then follow the L 98 through the villages of Valwig, Bruttig-Fankel, Beilstein and Briedern until you reach Mesenich, Kirchstraße 6.
Coming from the south:
A61, exit Rheinböllen, continue on the B50 to Kirchberg via Simmern, then take the B327 towards Kappel and Zell, exit Senheim/Beilstein onto the L98 until you reach Senheim, keep following the L98 to Mesenich, Kirchstraße 6.

Wir haben ein paar Tage in der Ferienwohnung Casa Romantica zu viert (2 Paare) verbracht und man kann sie bestens weiterempfehlen. Als wir ankamen wurden wir von unserer Vermieterin Frau Fuhrmann mit einem Begrüßungstrunk aufs herzlichste begrüßt. Die Wohnung ist super gepflegt. Morgens hatten wir einen Brötchenservice. Der Ort Mesenich ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort wer es ruhig liebt ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Abends hat man die Möglichkeit in netten Restaurants zu speisen. Von Mesenich aus kann man,liegt direkt an der Mosel, Fahrradtouren, Schiffstouren oder Wanderungen unternehmen.
