The polders around Medemblik are known for their good pike stocks - but please fish only after obtaining a Vispas and during the open season.
Holiday destination
The quaint old town of Medemblik is located right on the IJsselmeer. You can take the historic steam train to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam and the expansive North Sea beaches can be reached in about half an hour by car. Sailing, paddling, and cycling are excellent activities to enjoy. If you like fishing, you can do it directly from the house or by boat. The polders are very popular with pike anglers.

Wir waren drei Tage in dem schön eingerichteten Haus und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Absolutes Highlight waren das Motorboot und die beiden E-Bikes die im Preis enthalten waren.
Wir hatten die Unterkunft auch gerade deswegen gebucht. Der Garten ist auch sehr gepflegt und wenig einsichtig, so dass wir hier sehr schön relaxen konnten. Der einzige Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre noch ein Außengrill. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus, sehr nette Vermieter, die sich sofort kümmern. Bei einem der E-Bikes war das Display kaputt: Ich habe die Vermieterin per WhatsApp angeschrieben und kurze Zeit später war das Display ausgetauscht! Alles sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet.
