The polders around Medemblik are known for their good pike stocks - but please fish only after obtaining a Vispas and during the open season.
Holiday destination
The quaint old town of Medemblik is located right on the IJsselmeer. You can take the historic steam train to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam and the expansive North Sea beaches can be reached in about half an hour by car. Sailing, paddling, and cycling are excellent activities to enjoy. If you like fishing, you can do it directly from the house or by boat. The polders are very popular with pike anglers.

Wir waren zu Dritt mit Hund in dem wunderschönen Haus der Familie Reintjes. Es war alles da, schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Den schönen Garten haben wir genossen und die Fahrten mit dem Boot. Direkt über dem Deich waren wir am kleinen Strand am Ijsselmeer mit vielen schönen Wegen. Klasse für Mensch und Hund. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
