Porto Pollo is a nice small place on the North-Est of Sardinia and Maddalena Island is just in front of.
You can visit: Roccia dell'Orso one of the most famous rock shaped by the wind, the characteristic village of Palau, the ancient stronghold of Monte Altura built in end of 1800, Porto Rafael with its typical and unique houses, the Tomb of the Giants archeologic site and Garibaldi's house on Caprera Island.
You can also enjoy your holyday getting ferry from Porto Pollo to Maddalena and bicycling you can also reach the Caprera island or if you want a more relaxing activity, you may cruse a sightseeing with catamaran. Thanks to a lot of sport facilities you may rent the equipment and practise winging, windsurfing and kitesurfing even if you are a novice
