Holiday destination
Bardolino is a charming town located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, in the province of Verona. The town is famous for its picturesque lakeside promenade, characterized by a wide walk lined with trees and flowers, which offers a splendid view of the lake and the surrounding hills. Bardolino is also known for the wine of the same name, Bardolino DOC, a fresh and light red wine, perfect to taste in one of the many wine bars and typical restaurants in the historic center.
The old town, with its narrow cobbled streets, is home to boutiques, outdoor cafes and local craft shops, creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere. Among the most popular activities are excursions by bike or on foot in the surrounding hills, in particular along the Strada del Vino di Bardolino, where it is possible to visit local wineries and vineyards.
For those who prefer the lake, Bardolino offers the opportunity to practice water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and stand-up paddle. The beaches in the area are equipped and ideal for relaxing, sunbathing or taking a refreshing dip in the waters of Garda. Also nearby is Parco Natura Viva, a safari park and zoo, perfect for families and animal lovers.
Finally, Bardolino is a great starting point for exploring other tourist destinations on the lake, such as Sirmione, Malcesine and Lazise, or for a day trip to Verona, which is about 30 kilometers away and offers an incredible variety of historical and cultural attractions.
