Montepescali is a medieval village surrounded by olive groves 15 km. north of Grosseto on a hilltop with views across the land to the sea till the islands of the Tuscan archipelago and sometimes till Corse. The walled borough preserves the charme of ancient times. In the village there are a couple of restaurants (beginning of August there´s the wild boar "Sagra" along the streets) and a very good one is in Braccagni in front of the rail-station.

Es waren zwei tolle Wochen mit vielen schönen Erlebnissen und Momenten. Der Vermieter war zur gleichen Zeit vor Ort und hat uns verwöhnt ;)
Der Garten und der Ausblick waren fantastisch.
Tolle Restaurierung des historischen Turms samt Ausstattung. Montepescali ein schönes Dörfchen. Wildschweinfest im August war ebenfalls ein Ereignis.

Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
