The landscape around the holiday home is amazing: the national park Norra Kvill (6 km) or the 1000 year old oak in the next village Kvilleken, the hiking path Sevvedeleden that leads through the whole region as well as the many bathing and fishing opportunities in the surroundings. Enjoy an unforgettable paddling tour on the Stangan or visit the moose park. Discover Astrid Lindgren's world, the inventor of Pippi and Emil i Lönneberga etc. Visit the farm of Emil in Katthult (only 5 km from the holiday home). Got to Bullerbyn and then to Vimmerby, the home town of Astrid Lindgren, and visit the Pippi Longstocking Värld. There is plenty of information in the house.

Es war ein toller Urlaub. Schweden hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Ferienhaus entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unseren Kindern (6 und 12 Jahre) hat besonders der See und der tolle Spieleboden im Haus gefallen. Wir hatten zwei Wochen tolles, sonniges Wetter. Wir haben die Seele baumeln lassen und schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung gemacht. Am meisten waren wir von Astrid Lindgrens Värld begeistert, aber auch Bullerbü und Katthult und Vimmerby waren sehr schön. Viel Spaß hatten wir auch im Elchpark. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder nach Schweden.

Von Hyltabyn haben wir viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht: Astrid Lingrens Welt und Geburtshaus in Vimmerby sind nur 15 min. entfernt, der Nationalpark liegt ganz dicht bei und auch Katthult und Büllerby liegen nur wenige Autominuten weit weg. Die Ostsee mit den Schären bei Västervik ist zudem in einer Stunde erreichbar. Vor Ort hat uns natürlich der Badesee gut gefallen. Manches Mal waren wir ganz alleine dort und sind vom Steg ins Wasser gesprungen oder haben auf der Luftmatratze gedümpelt. Am zweiten, angrenzenden See liegt das Boot Aida Sol. Nicht zu vergessen sind auch die vielen Blaubeeren, die wir täglich rund ums Haus gesammelt haben. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.
