Our holiday flat is set on the upper level in our detached log home and has its own entrance.

The apartment has a size of 88 sqm, a balcony and sleeps up to five people. It is separated into a living room with kitchen, dining table and satellite tv, one bedroom with three beds, one bedroom with 2 beds and a bathroom with shower, tub and toilet.

Smoking as well as pets are unfortunately not permitted.

Holiday destination

Our holiday flat is located in Gappen at the foot of the Danielsberg, in the municipailty of Reißeck.

In the direct vicinity, it is possible to go hiking, climbing and mountaineering as well as whitewater canoeing and rafting, horseback riding, swimming, tennis, skiing and much more.

You can use the Kärnten-Card to use the Kreuzeck and Reißeckbahn (6 km) into the high mountains.

In winter, you can use three smaller lifts for alpine slopes at the Mölltal glacier and the Ankogel slope.

By car via the A 10, exit Spittal/Drau towards Lienz - Grossglockner or
with the car shuttle train via Mallnitz
via Felberntauern - Lienz - Mölltal - Penk

We had a fantastic holiday in the light and spacious apartment of the Wagner family. The apartment is cosy, comfortable (including the beds, couch and balcony chairs) and well equipped. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and enjoy the great view on the mountains of the Hohe Tauern.
The apartment is located in a quiet area and many places of interest are in close proximity (beautiful valleys, cable cars, lake). A week was too short to explore it all.
If this doesn't convince you yet, then the outstanding hospitality of Mr and Mrs Wagner surely will! They did everything to make us feel at home. We were welcomed with home-made food, doing our laundry was no problem and when we left Mrs Wagner gave us small socks that she had been knitting for our baby who will be born in a couple of months! So lovely!!

Unser Urlaub hätte nicht besser sein können!
Die Wohnung ist toll, die Kids (5 und 9 Jahre) liebten die Badewanne und das urige Holzhaus. Gastfreundlichere Vermieter kann man sich nicht wünschen! Wir wurden sehr herzliche empfangen und fühlten uns sehr wohl.
Die Region ist traumhaft und mit der Kärnten-Card bleiben für unternehmungswillige Familien keine Wünsche offen.

Wenn es uns nochmal in die Gegend verschlägt, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder!
Danke an Elke und Richard, dass ihr uns den Aufenthalt so vollkommen gemacht habt.

Wir waren nun schon das sechste Mal hier im Urlaub. Die Unterkunft ist einfach schön und die Vermieter super freundliche Leute. In der nahen und fernen Umgebung lässt sich sehr viel erleben und unternehmen, ob mit Fahrrad oder zu Fuß. Es war mit Sicherheit nicht der letzte Urlaub bei Richard und Elke.
