The recently renovated Gapphof is located at 325 meters above sea level, among apple trees in the Etsch meadows of Algund, about 1,000 meters from the village center and close to the city of Merano. Very convenient is the nearby bus and train stop and the shopping center just nearby. Whether you prefer mountain climbing, museums, or visit the Meran thermal baths ,or prefer sporting activities such as cycling and skiing, city strolling everything is possible.
Getting there
Freeway Meran - Bozen, exit Meran citycentre, direction Algund, untlil you reach a small roundabout, go straight a head to the second roundabout. take a left before entering the roundabout. the you ll reach a railway track. cross the tracks take a right immidiatley, go a head for 200 meters and you reached your destination

Der Gapphof in Algund ist ein wahres Juwel im Meraner Land. Eingebettet in eine eigene Bio-Apfelplantage, bietet er einen harmonischen Garten mit einem Naturbadeteich und zahlreichen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Ferienwohnungen sind modern und gemütlich, und auch Hunde sind hier herzlich willkommen. Die Rezeptionistin, Erika, versorgt die Gäste mit wertvollen Tipps und einem abwechslungsreichen Frühstücksangebot. Kein Wunder, dass der Gapphof bei den Gästen so beliebt ist! Sehr gut und komfortabel eingerichtet alles sehr sauber. Schöne Aussicht bereits morgens im Bad durch das riesige Fenster sowie vom großen Balkon in die Berge. Auch unser kleiner 55 Kilo Broholmer wurde gleich sehr liebevoll aufgenommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder weil alles passt und was Clio anbelangt können einige andere Gastgeber mal dort einen Urlaub verbringen und sich einlernen lassen und mit 66 Jahren und viel herumgekommen kann ich das glaube ich gut beurteilen. Wir vermieten im Allgäu übrigens auch ein vom DTV mit 5 Sterne zertifiziertes Ferienhaus seit 2012
