    The holiday home is located in the Alentejo region, 30 minutes by car from the west coast. Vila Nova de Milfontes is a small coastal town worth visiting and has many good restaurants. You can go surfing or fishing from the cliffs in the numerous bays. There is a beautiful coastal hiking trail, the Rota Vicentina, but also other well-marked hiking trails. The numerous reservoirs are perfect for going for a swim. Lisbon is 1.5 hours away by car, as is the Algarve.
    Holiday destination
    The holiday home is located in a well-developed village. There are 2 cafes, a typical Portuguese restaurant and a market hall that is open every day. You can always buy fresh vegetables and fruit, meat and fish. Colos also has a small shop that sells anything you may need during your stay.
    Getting there
    By plane to Lisbon or Faro. From there take the Lisbon-Faro train; get off in Funchaira and then it's by taxi to Colos. Or by rental car straight from the airport.
