Holiday destination
In less than 1 km distance to the apartment there is a bakery with a café (breakfast offered there, also on Sundays), 2 supermarkets, farmers' market on friday, post office, banks, petrol station and railway station.
Also the outdoor swimming area 'Schlosssee' is within walking distance (500 m). The large natural lake´s situation is uniquely beautiful, with a nice view to the hilly Salem hinterland as well as a spacious area with lawns, playground and takeaway.
Due to the well developed road system, bicycle paths and hiking trails the surroundings of Salem - both direction Lake Constance and the hinterland - can be explored easily by bike and foot (Schloss Salem, Affenberg, Birnau, Meersburg, Blumeninsel Mainau). Travelling by public transport also allows you to reach sights easily.

Wir machen meistens Urlaub in Ferienwohnungen. Diese schöne geschmackvoll sanierte FeWo der Fam. Basler war bisher die schönste und best ausgestatteste FeWo. Es fehlte uns an nichts.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Modernität, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung der Küche (Geräte, Gewürze, Öl, Essig, etc), super Kinderbücher/Spiele und die Aussicht bei schönem Wetter bis zum Säntis.
Außerdem haben uns die Gastgeber freundlich empfangen und wir erhielten Tipps zur Umgebung.
Die Lage ist sehr gut. Schlosssee zu Fuss in ca 10 Min., ein kleiner Bioladen, ebenfalls in ca 10 Min entfernt.
Wer mit Kleinkindern reist, Spielplätze in 2-10 Min zu Fuss erreichbar.

Wir haben die FeWo bereits an zwei befreundeten Familien weiter empfohlen.

Wir können diese Ferienwohnung absolut empfehlen. Top eingerichte Küche fast wie zu Hause. Und auch der Rest lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ruhige Lage und dennoch sehr zentral Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Kurz um wir würden diese Wohnung wieder buchen. Die Vermieterinnen waren auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
