Of course, the well-known ski areas of Wildkogelbahnen and the Kitzbühel Alps are a must. But an attraction that should definitely be planned for winter vacation is probably the longest illuminated natural toboggan run in neighboring Bramberg.
Your summer vacation in the hiking paradise of Hohe Tauern National Park
In summer, you will find a hiking paradise here. The Mühlbachtal is a diverse hiking area. Don't forget: A bag for collecting berries and mushrooms should always be part of your hiking gear. The "Rettenstein" is one of the most distinctive mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps, and on the "Baumgartenalm," there is an impressive showcase cheese dairy.
Tip: Go treasure hunting in the Habachtal. The natural valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park is particularly significant due to its emerald mine. The Habachtal is home to the only relevant emerald deposit in Europe.
