Cancellation policy
Late Payment, Withdrawal, Cancellation, and Termination of Stay
If the tenant is in arrears with their payment, withdraws from the contract, or cancels (terminates) the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the following proportional rents (minus utility costs & tourist tax) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, in addition to a fee of 50 EUR, provided that re-letting is not possible:
-up to 49 days before the start of the rental period: 10% of the rental price
-up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 40% of the rental price
-up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 60% of the rental price
-up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 90% of the rental price
-otherwise (later than 14 days before the start of the rental period) 100% of the rental price.
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price. A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The relevant date is the day on which the declaration is received.

Getting there
The journey via Lelystad is very straightforward, exclusively via motorway or well-maintained federal road. An absolute experience is the drive over the approximately 25km long Houtribsdijk, which leads right through the IJsselmeer and Markermeer - as far as the eye can see, nothing but water.
