With its beautiful, varied, hilly landscape, the area is still an (almost) undiscovered paradise for hikers, but is also attractive for mountain bikers. You can explore the Lahn by canoe and discover romantic little towns and villages in the vicinity, visit the Weilburg palace concerts, visit castles or museums and exhibitions. Wir haben schon in sehr vielen FeWos Urlaub gemacht, aber diese gehört sicher zu den besten 5, die wir kennengelernt haben. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und sehr dekorativ eingerichtet. Selbst im (sehr schönen!) Bad stand ein Sträußchen frisch gepflückter Blumen aus dem Garten. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, hätte genutzt werden können (wenn das Wetter mitgespielt hätte), und irgendetwas blüht wohl immer. Selbst am Eingangsbereich wurde man schon mit blühenden Büschen begrüßt. Frau Holzhäuser war aufgeschlossen für Ausflugstipps und für Fragen und hielt sich ansonsten eher dezent im Hintergrund.

Wir hatten schöne Tage in dieser gemütlichen und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung. Diese ist absolut ruhig gelegen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren. Sehr freundliche und vertrauensvolle Gastgeberin. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
