Description

Our Jantje holiday home (renovated in 2021) offers you, among other things, two bedrooms with large box spring beds. The two bathrooms (one on the ground floor) include a large bathtub and rain shower. The kitchen is equipped with a WMF fully automatic coffee machine, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a Philipps gourmet coffee filter machine, and a wine cooler. In the wellness room with adjoining large roof terrace, you will find a sauna/infrared cabin and two massage loungers. The living-dining area with a view of the water is equipped with a Philipps SMART TV (free Netflix, fibre optic connection), Blue-Ray player, Internet radio, various DVDs and games, and a Danish fireplace. Two spacious terraces, a Weber grill, two e-bikes, and our own boat complete the outdoor area.

Special features

Our Jantje holiday home is furnished with great attention to detail and offers a special feel-good atmosphere with cottage charm. For example, after a blustery walk along the dyke, you can relax with a soothing bubble bath. Sun worshipers can lie on the large, non-visible roof terrace in the Senator’s Lounge. Or end the day with a drink right on the canal.

Holiday destination

Our holiday home is not in a classic tourist area but nevertheless offers a variety of excursions.
You can take a walk or boat trip along the canal to Wynhamster Klok watermill. You can reach the old oil rig in Dollard in 15 minutes by bike. This is an impressive excursion destination with a wonderful view.
You can reach the picturesque harbour town of Ditzum or the Dutch border very quickly by car (5 minutes). In Ditzum, you will find numerous restaurants and shops. Wonderful shopping opportunities with many owner-managed shops and quaint streets await you in the port city of Leer (15 minutes).
