Our cozy hotel combines alpine charm with modern comfort. The comfortable rooms offer a stunning view of the majestic Tux Alps and the Hintertux Glacier.
A good start to the morning begins with a good breakfast. At the breakfast buffet, you can experience the Zillertal with all its delicacies. The closer, the better – most of our products come from our region. As a hay milk operation, you will naturally get fresh milk from our own cows, and neighboring farmers supply us with fresh yogurt and eggs. Homemade cakes and spreads round off the offer. After this boost, the day can truly begin.
In summer, our house is the starting point for numerous hikes, whether you are looking for a high alpine summit victory or want to enjoy a leisurely alpine hike. The free hiking bus also allows you to explore the entire Tux Valley comfortably. Additionally, we are a partner business of the Zillertal Nature Park. Our guests can participate in all guided hikes of the nature park free of charge. Up to 3 different hikes are offered daily.
For our little guests, our playground with trampoline, swing, and a small petting zoo (goats, rabbits, guinea pigs) provides an experience that won't be forgotten quickly. Meanwhile, adults can relax in the deck chairs and enjoy the mountain sun.
P.S: Adults are also allowed to pet the goats, of course.
In winter, our location offers an unforgettable alpine sports experience. The ski and glacier world Zillertal 3000 is at your feet. Right next to our house, you can take the Tux sports bus, which takes you to all ski areas in the Tux Valley. From the beginner routes of Eggalm to the stunning slopes of the Hintertux Glacier at 3,250 meters above sea level, every skier's heart beats faster here.
Even those who don't want to ski down the slopes will find plenty to enjoy with us. The 28-kilometer cross-country ski trail can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Whether you simply want to make a leisurely round of Madseit or explore the entire Tux Valley from Madseit to Vorderlanersbach, it is up to you to choose.
If you don't strap on skis, you can immerse yourself in a "winter wonderland" on 68 kilometers of winter hiking trails. Enjoy the snow-covered nature of the Tux Valley. Breathe in the clear, cold mountain air and feel what mountain winter means. The hiking trail starts right in Madseit and leads you either to the foot of the Hintertux Glacier or to the center of Lanersbach.
Our tip: don't worry if you lose your breath while cross-country skiing or winter hiking. A stop for the free sports bus is usually not far away.
It traverses Tux fully electrically at 10/20-minute intervals.
After a day full of adventure, we invite you to relax in our wellness oasis. Enjoy our sauna area with Finnish sauna, steam sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation room to recharge your energy. For deep relaxation, we offer a
hydrojet massage bed. This pampering treatment lasts 20 minutes with partial or full-body massages.
