If you are a nature lover, you will come into your own. Especially in the dunes you can indulge yourself and for bird lovers there is much to discover. Historically, the whole area is interesting, not only because of all the reclamations and struggles to keep the feet dry, but also the shipping industry and occupations through the centuries have left their marks on the landscape. Museums and information centres are plentiful in order to show you all the beautiful and interesting things. The special architecture of the farms and towns stand out. There are 2 zoos within short distance. And the naval city of Den Helder has its own story to tell. Or cross over to the island of Texel. Furthermore, you can enjoy cycling, walking, swimming, mountain biking, kite flying, surfing and fishing. And there are various play parks, which are a true Walhalla for children. There are also 2 zoos within short distance.
Holiday destination
The environment is typically Dutch: dikes, mills, bulb fields and many cycle paths. The historical towns and villages between the North Sea coast and the IJsselmeer are charming. The village of Petten is within walking distance.

Wir (3 Familien mit insgesamt 4 Kindern zwischen 1 und 4 Jahren + Hund) haben eine wunderbare Woche im Ferienhaus De Stolp bei Annemarie & Henk verbracht. Es war wunderbar! Der komplett eingezäunte Garten ist perfekt für Kind & Hund und das Trampolin ist ein riesen Spaß! Die Lage ist einzigartig - der Strand ist auch mit kleinen Kindern fußläufig erreichbar, notfalls gibt es einen Bollerwagen zum Ausleihen. Alles war super sauber, das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und absolut liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts! Auch für die Kleinen ist alles vorhanden (Bett, Hochstuhl, Töpfchen, Treppengitter...) Das Haus ist außerdem groß genug, um sich auch mal aus dem Weg gehen zu können. Vielen Dank nochmal für die wunderschöne Zeit und hoffentlich bis nächstes Jahr!
